Dr. Ming-Rong Zhang is a director of Department of Advanced Nuclear Medicine Sciences, Institute for Quantum Medical Science, National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology (QST) of Japan.
He specializes in the development and production of novel PET radiotracers for brain and cancer imaging in clinical uses. He is also performing the development of new labeling techniques and reactions for radiopharmaceuticals. Recently, He has developed alpha and beta nuclide-labeled radiopharmaceuticals for targeted-radionuclide-therapy (TRT) in cancer. He has contributed to over 450 peer-reviewed original papers and granted 20 patents.
